Malcom X. Bowser is a writer, curator, and founder of Urban X Podcast and UrbanX.nyc blog. As a Bronx native, he navigated his urban experience by being both book and street smart. He has always been a voracious reader. He is an entrepreneur that runs a fully online publication and online clothing brand from his home. He has a growing Youtube channel that has amassed over 3.5 million views and 42 thousand subscribers and counting. He does a weekly podcast with his father called the Urban X Podcast, which is often called "the best father and son podcast."As the son of an educator (his mom), and an author (his dad), Malcom has grown up with his nose predominately stuck in a book. In high school, he attended Mount St. Michael Academy in the Bronx where he played football all four years and earned all-city honors his senior year. Malcom earned his B. A. in History from SUNY College at Old Westbury in 2015. He's been a contributing writer for his college's newspaper, the New York Trend publication, and other various blogs including his own. Through his writing, Malcom strives to dispel all myths, and correct all falsehoods and misconceptions about his community that was put in place by those who are not a part of them. He's woke, but he loves naps.
