Lettie Cronin is an entomologist, educator, and storyteller based in Florida. Known throughout her community as the Bug Lady, she is the founder of a science outreach company that brings bugs, biology, and bold curiosity to homes and classrooms across the state. With a heart for kids and a gift for making science accessible, she teaches through hands-on programs, live demonstrations, and school visits that inspire wonder.

In 2024, Lettie was honored as ActionCoach’s unanimous Female Entrepreneur of the Year. She has also been featured twice in PestPro Magazine, a leading industry publication, in recognition of her impact and innovation in pest control education. Her business reflects both her entrepreneurial spirit and her deep commitment to service.

At the center of her life and work is her Christian faith, which she credits as the foundation for her perseverance, joy, and purpose. She believes every child has God-given potential and is passionate about nurturing that spark through storytelling and science.

Her debut children’s book, The Legend of the Ferocious Crocagator, is based on a bedtime story her father used to tell. It captures her belief that curiosity is its own kind of superpower and that kindness can rewrite even the oldest legends.

At home, Lettie lives with her cat, Beetle, and an ever-rotating cast of insect guests. Whether she’s writing, speaking, or tracking bugs through the backyard, she’s most at home when she’s helping kids see the world with wonder.
