Leila Sanchez, a Black and Filipino California native, blends her passion for fiction writing with her interest in horror to create gripping narratives. An English major from UC Davis, Leila honed her craft as the president of a fiction writing club, designing activities and leading workshops to foster creativity and writing skills.
Sanchez has an interest in fiction writing, specifically the horror and fantasy subgenres. She has published a short horror story, "The Challenge at the Carmichael Mansion", about a woman who enters a challenge to stay in an abandoned mansion for 24 hours, but as she's there, she realizes that there's more to the mansion then meets the eye.
