Throughout her life Diane Roure’ Pleasant has written stories and music. While teaching music and art in the Jackson and Clinton, Mississippi areas for many years, Diane became “MS P” to all her students. During that time, she and her husband raised four children and now have ten grandchildren.
She joined, The Clinton Ink-Slingers writing group, and was encouraged to begin publishing her work. Diane now serves as President of the group. She also was President of the Arts Council of Clinton from 2014-2016.
Diane enjoys painting, writing stories, singing, writing music, making pottery, gardening, and crafting.
She has published two Children’s picture books, “Just Wait: A Lesson in Patience” and “The Creepy Creek Chorus: A Lesson in Friendship”. She illustrated both books in watercolors. Diane has several more children’s books in the works and all will be under the brand name “MS P’s Books”.
