Born in New York, moved upstate to the green of the Hudson Valley to raise a family. It was not until later in life that she took up writing and painting, the beautiful area and its spiritual notes spoke to her. As noted in the book, many of the poems are spiritual, and as some have said "almost a prayer". The book is mixed with a reverence for the military and all they have done for us, a thank you of sorts.
Having attended art school in New York her goal in writing has been to "paint a picture with words", and hopefully this will be the case. The written word to each person is different, and has its own meaning for that time. Please enjoy the words each in their own life.
