About the Author

Fran Coughlin is a native of Lowell, Massachusetts, where he graduated from the University of Lowell. He later earned a master's degree from Northeastern University, where he also taught technical writing as an adjunct instructor. He has worked as a technical writer for over 30 years. He now lives on the south coast of Massachusetts, with his wife Katie, daughter Rylie, and yellow lab, Miss Dibbs. His happy place is bird watching from his farmers porch, with a cold beer and Miss Dibbs.
