Claudette Roberts grew up in Phoenix Arizona as a child she was a Trick and Fancy rider in rodeos around the United States. Her dad, Gerald Roberts was the All Around World Champion Cowboy in 1942 and 1948. He also won the North American Championship in Canada in 1950. Her knowledge of rodeo is based on experience and the love of the sport and horses. She decided to write the book, or should I say finish the book, after her dad started the book writing only about 27 pages. It was important to tell his story, but to make it complete she had to tell the story of her mom and the whole Roberts rodeo family.
Claudette also loves to paint in oil. Horses are her main subject, but she paints western and Indian themes also. Roberts-Round-Up is her logo.
She resides in Lancaster, California her daughter Ardie Wyatt and family live in Lancaster too. Her son Damon Reynolds lives on the island of Crete in Greece.
