I am Christopher McDonald—advocate, author, poet, and Navy veteran. In my early career I published under the name Chris McDonald, and today I also write as The Stoic Teacher. My work blends dark fantasy, emotional realism, and mythic depth, ranging from immersive epics to autobiographical accounts that confront betrayal, resilience, and redemption.
Between 2018 and 2024, I published as Chris McDonald while co-authoring multiple books with Clifford L. Crenshaw. Together we created sagas that explored religion, morality, and the human condition. Yet the writings that define me most have come from my own battles—military injustice, systemic neglect, and personal betrayal—which shaped a voice both unflinching and compassionate. My words carry the weight of lived experience, creative vision, and an uncompromising commitment to truth.
As a lifelong veteran advocate, I speak for those silenced by hardship and overlooked by institutions. Through every story and verse, I call on readers to confront suffering with courage, to find meaning in chaos, and to seek beauty and righteousness with relentless conviction. My journey—from sailor to survivor, from betrayed friend to moral poet—embodies the enduring resilience that defines both my art and my life.
