Born and raised in Southern Minnesota, Ben graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College and afterwards spent a summer as a wilderness guide on Lake Superior. Contemplating the Bible with others in nature initiated a desire to know Christ more deeply, even becoming single-minded in seeking Him.
What’s unique about this work is that it is not coming from any kind of religious education or formality. It’s coming from the seeker's heart of wanting to know Christ through pursuing Him directly.
Ben currently lives in St. Paul, MN, where he has led groups on exploring this path. His last few decades have been devoted to love and surrender through Christ. What is written in this book is the fruit of this journey. May it be pleasing in His sight.
