Since 1977, The Cure has been one of the most iconic and commanding musical groups in the world, often categorized as goth, post-punk, or alternative. And songwriter Robert Smith's lyrics have been described as depressing and dark. But is that really the complete picture? Can The Cure be fairly or accurately categorized? 

Welcome...to Wordflowers. Wordflowers is a garden, and The Cure's words are the flowers. This is not a book of lyrics. It's a picture book journey of arrangements of words from Smith's lyrics. These words form thematic bouquets conveying human conditions (despair, delight, violence), relationships, and of course the peculiarities of Smith's reflections, musings, and obsessions. And as you stroll through this peculiar and untamed wonderland of a garden, you won't find confining categories or conclusions, but rather a new and interesting way to experience (and see) the shifting and mutating story of The Cure.

25 % of the net proceeds go to National Alliance on Mental Illness, a grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for people affected by mental illness.
