Willemena is a whimsical creature who is able to sit still and observe what goes on in the woods around her. Willemena's patience and stillness encourages her friends to learn the same skill.

Willemena is a whimsical creature who is able to sit still and observe what goes on in the woods around her. Willemena's patience and stillness encourages her friends to learn the same skill. Willemena, in turn, realizes that her patience was a gift she could teach which would have her becoming a very desirable friend who will no longer be alone.

I was born and raised in Wisconsin with my parents and older brother. I noticed from a very young age that people sought me out for counsel, during their difficulties. I realized soon into freshman year of college, that I wanted to help people professionally. I took a few courses in undergraduate school in Psychology, which naturally lead me to counseling. I received my bachelor of science in psychology from UW-Milwaukee in 2009. I then went on to receive my Masters in Community Counseling from Mount Mary College in 2011. I have been working with children and adults as a licensed professional counselor for 13 years. Willemena is a written experiment, (the first of a series) which has been aimed towards strengthening our youth. Thank you for supporting me on this adventure!
