About the author

Andrew Schofield was born in Farnborough in 1956. He has lived in England, Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa where he was educated. He has been active in the field of conservation for most of his life. He is married to Simone and they have two adult children Janet and Adrian. Andrew still does conservation work throughout Africa. Over the past ten years he has been making documentary films on nature and wildlife, and taking people on specialist tours around Southern and Central Africa including Madagascar to see the White Lions and Africa's magnificent wildlife.
