Karyn lives in West Hempstead, NY, and "Where Do All The Christmas Trees Go?" is her first children's book written by her and illustrated by her husband Matthew Klein.

Matthew Klein was born in Huntington, NY. He is an Army Combat Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient of the Iraq War. Matthew currently is an active member of the NYPD, a Detective assigned to the Sketch Artist Unit.
