About The Author

Jill Foer Hirsch is a breast cancer survivor, writer, and humorist. While battling breast cancer in 2010, she documented her experience in an online journal. Originally intended for family and friends, her readership grew and Jill heard from cancer survivors, patients, and those whose lives had been touched by cancer that they found her unique sense of humor and positive outlook inspirational. Hoping to encourage and support a wider audience, Jill adapted the journal into this book. Jill resides in the Washington, D.C., area with her husband Dan and their four spoiled cats.
