On a foggy morning walk over the familiar 3.4-mile trek through my neighborhood, a new thought emerged. My mind drifting, the beauty of God's creation surrounding me, I focused on trees–their abundant shades of color, myriad shapes and stages of growth as well as decay; and I knew they represented the complexities of my life and walk of faith. Since that day I have taken pictures of trees on blue-sky days as well as cloud-filled ones, some in the dark with a little streetlight, but all with a fledgling idea to share. After multiple pairs of walking shoes have made their way to the trash because of high mileage, I want to share with you what has become, for me, some lessons from God.
