About the author
Jennifer Chavarria went to college for early childhood education and became a foster parent at the age of 25. She has three children, two grandchildren, and has been married for 20 years. She has always been deeply involved with childhood development and is now an advocate for her daughter Aaliyah. Jennifer hopes to show other children that their physical and mental disabilities do not stop them from living a fulfilled life with activities and friends.
