United in Chaos

Three months before the presidential election, disaster strikes… In an alternate history, during the course of the 2024 presidential campaign, Donald Trump is successfully assassinated in Bulter, Pennsylvania and Joe Biden experiences a fatal medical emergency in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tragic loss of both presidential candidates throws the United States into chaos. Traditional Republicans eject the MAGA wing of the party, instead appointing an unpopular candidate who is quickly rejected by the voters. Meanwhile, the Democrat Vice President is also rejected by the voters, but refuses to lose the new powers of the Presidential Office. Facing the threat of losing the presidential election to an independent candidate, the DC Swamp strikes a backroom deal that keeps the Democrat President and appoints the Republican candidate as the Vice President. The deal merges both parties' campaigns to assume power, declaring a "Unity Government" and canceling the 2024 elections. John Kowalski, a retired Army Colonel from West Virginia, leads a group of veterans in a protest against the suspension of elections. As the group gains momentum across the state and nation, he befriends the West Virginia Governor who uses his political connections to lead a group of states to call for free and fair elections. Threatened, the federal government utilizes rogue deep state actors and Antifa groups to crack down against any dissension, attacking states and citizens resisting the "Unity Government." What starts with exercising their constitutional right to protest, John Kowalski and Larry Morrison are forced into a national battle for free and fair elections against "Imperial Washington" dead set on retaining power over the American people. "United in Chaos: The Rise of the Coalition of States" follows the back door dealings of the swamp to retain power and the violence that deep state actors could bring to neighborhoods across America.
