Overview

“Undercurrents” is a suspense oriented novel based upon the real life architectural experience of the author. The story has a unique plot about an architect’s dreams of becoming world renowned for his works. The Miami architect is commissioned to design the world’s very first floating underwater restaurant and casino structure in Nassau, Bahamas. He then becomes scheduled for an interview appearance on the Today Show to present and reveal the model of his uniquely designed structure. Unfortunately, there was a tragic accident with the Structure soon after it was submerged below the water. His practice and his romances then have ongoing twists and turns. The plot thickens as the investigation leads to such questions regarding sabotoge?… Was there Mafia gaming ties between Las Vegas and The Bahamas ?… Was the architect’s female attorney and her father’s high gambling profile and senatorial political career in anyway connected to the accident ? Was the architect’s girlfriend accidently found to have some association with the Florida senator in a conspiracy?

About The Author

Author Harvey C. Ferber presently is an award winning Architect residing and practicing in Vero Beach Florida. He began his practice in the Miami area in 1967 and holds architect license registrations from Florida to Maine. He was commissioned to design a floating restaurant casino structure in Nassau, Bahamas in 1981. He is an authorized author for all Autodesk products throughout the World and has published works in Ariel communications international “Cadence” magazine, relating to Computer Aided Design for the architectural and engineering professions including computer 3-D Graphics and animation. He has many published feature articles in the Home and Design section of the “Miami Herald”. He has also written Feature articles in the “Scripps” newspapers along the Florida Treasure Coast. Harvey attended the University of Illinois School of Architecture, and is a professional photographer and a multi-engine rated private pilot. He is the recipient of many design awards for his residential and commercial work throughout his long career. Ferber holds a National Council Architectural Registration certificate and maintains a current ARB Architect’s license in the United Kingdom which includes the privilege to practice in all European common countries. Ferber is also a certified Umpire with the Florida Windstorm Network.
