Two Cents

Instant gratification has inundated our culture. Consequently, we have permitted a great many distractions to steal our attention from the meaningful now. Linda is aware of this troubling trend and is armed with a dry wit and earnest desire for us to slow down our thought life and think about what we are thinking about. Two Cents is a wake-up call for us to focus on the areas of our lives that need addressing and to seek help from the outside when we realize that we don't have it all together.

Much more than just another book on self-discovery, you will find a trustworthy friend alongside to help confront the real issues and approach them with a God-directed plan for success. Written in a format to encourage journaling, Linda's goal is to lead the reader to probe deeper into scripture as well as their own personal issues, providing space for considering a Christ-centered perspective.

Linda C. Rowgo grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and though technically a part of the “silent generation,” she is anything but. Still residing in the city of her youth, she is a Christian, mom, grandma, and, most importantly, friend. Vocationally, Linda has worn the hat of schoolteacher, limited license psychologist, high school counselor, and small group leader over her nearly 80 years on planet earth.
In 2006, Linda retired but likes to refer to the time since as her re"fire"ment. She continues to cherish times spent with friends and family, talking about the things that matter and building solid and priceless relationships. Teaching, counseling, encouraging, and loving others will continue to be the beat that goes on as long as Linda lives this side of eternity.
Her prayer has always been that after relocating to heaven she will have left warm memories and lots of smiles behind. Beyond that, she hopes to see everyone again and likes to part with the words, “To be continued…”
