Overview

John Martis wants out…out of pain, out of misery, out of living. Torment from auditory and visual hallucinations, commission by his father to an adolescent psych institution, and life in his car on the Chicago streets were bad enough. About the author

WF Rast lived in the "deep, dirty south" among personalities just like the characters in his novels. He grew up in rural South Carolina, went to boarding school in the mountains of Western North Carolina, and attended college at Davidson College where he majored in history. He has a life resume that includes farm boy, army officer, military linguist, medical sale representative, Steadicam operator, video editor, nursing assistant, and operating room nurse. These experiences gave him a large library of people, places and events to put into his writing. But it was in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky where the world of DISVNITVS entered his consciousness. The beauty and personalities of this region of Appalachia inspired the locations and characters of the fictional town of Nickelbox, Kentucky. With a deep, long-lasting fascination with the paranormal, the love of a good story, and the nudging of the Holy Spirit, he publishes the first book of this new genre style. Join him as he navigates the uncertainty and challenges of being a new author.
