Lyrics from the extensive output of the band Calactus covering the genres of alternative rock, ambient, experimental and electronica; is covered here, pushing the boundaries of traditional song writing.
About the author
Alan John McIlveen was born in Barrow-in-furness in 1969. He has been producing music, animation, poetry, photography and graphics, under the guise of Calactus, for the last four years. He originally studied Fine Art at Humberside Polytechnic in Hull, UK and graduated in 1991. He currently lives and works in Northamptonshire teaching art at a secondary school.
