Timmy Turtle Makes A New Friend

"Timmy Turtle makes a new friend" is my latest book in the series "The Undersea Adventures of Timmy Turtle. Timmy Turtle will learn the importance of making friends as well as the importance of helping our friends in times of need. In this story Timmy will have the opportunity of asking for help when he realizes he doesn't have all the answers. Timmy will learn that there are friends in our lives that might have the answers but we must learn to ask for help. My goal is to help young readers to understand that they too have people in their lives who are there when we need help. Parents, grandparents, teachers and friends are there to help us but we must learn to ask for help in order to complete the task. Even in a large ocean there is no task too big for Timmy Turtle and his friends. Together Arnie the otter and Timmy Turtle learn the importance of true friendship as they solve the problem of finding Arnie's home and family under the old fishing pier. When we work together to solve life's problems we can form bonds and friendships that will last a lifetime. Unconditional love is what teaches us how to be helpers as we work in the service of one another. The joy of service to our fellow friends and neighbors should always be our goal and in this story Timmy Turtle and Arnie otter will learn this first hand.
