Overview
"Timmy Turtle And His Search For Food" is about what turtles eat and how turtles find food in their underwater environment, even when it is in short supply. Through the help of his friends, Timmy finds additional food and has a lovely adventure.
Description
Sea turtles live in a very fragile environment. Surviving in a hostile habitat requires them to be careful in every choice they make. Timmy Turtle must rely on help from others and the power of friendship to find food and stay safe. The author's goal is to educate children on what Timmy and the other sea turtles must do to survive through the ups and downs of life as a sea turtle. She wants children to see, through a cute cartoon character, that turtles are amazing creatures and that we can learn so much from them. Our planet is home to so many wonderful creatures, and the more we take care of the land and sea, the more we can protect wildlife for generations to come.
