Overview
This story is about a little spider and a butterfly who are shunned by others in the forest because of their physical differences. They meet and become friends and learn that those differences give them unique abilities to help a friend in danger.
Description
This is the story of a little spider and a butterfly who have what some others in the forest consider 'physical adversities'. They meet and become the best of friends and discover they have unique abilities that allow them to help a friend in danger. While it's a fairly short story, it has good guys and bad guys and gets to a nice moral at the end. It's about spiders, but it's illustrated in a way that makes them more whimsical than threatening. A good bed-time story, perhaps.
About the author

There's Something About Samson This Book is an absolutely adorable, interesting, exciting, colorful and a feeling story for Children. It clearly shows the many feelings that Children, (as well as all of us) can definitely have at one time or another. It shows that a minor or major physical difference in anyone, need not be a handicap in any way and no one should judge someone that may be somewhat different than the norm. This little book can touch and awaken many moods and feelings in almost anyone, child or not. The Artwork by Chris Klee is brilliant and exciting and each picture is absolutely perfect and clearly illustrates each and every emotion of every character in the story. His portrayal of each little character brings each one totally to life and makes their little personalities unbelievably real. The colors are amazing and vibrant and even the smallest child will relate their color to each one of them. The surroundings in the story are so real and appropriate and uncomplicated to the story. With the beautiful and feeling story that Stacy Delaney has written and the fantastic artwork of Chris Klee, I can say without a doubt that this is the best children's book and story that I have ever read. To be clear; I have actually raised eleven children in my life. Needless to say, I have bought and read MANY children's books during my lifetime. Very sincerely, Suzanne Read more
