About The Author


D. Russell Smith moved with his family to Houston at the age of four. At various times, he's been a Boy Scout, saxophonist, father, friend, husband, house painter, repo man, construction manager and winemaker. Russell has been making wine for thirty-eight vintages and currently makes wine in the Texas Hill Country and Catalunya, Spain.
