About the author

Scott's greatest desire is for others to know and live out the scriptures. God's Word is a beautiful gift to humanity! He hopes to do everything he can to help people understand the scriptures. That means looking at both what it says and what it means. But simply reading the Bible is not enough. God's desire for us is that we would live it out and do what it says. Helping others do that is what he calls discipleship. It's simply about taking the next faithful step! When he was 21 years old God called Scott into ministry and he began training through serving in a church and going to seminary. Through his education, experience and the confirmation of his gifting by others, he has now been a licensed pastor since 2012 and was ordained at his home church in Modesto on the first weekend of January, 2020. As a teacher he has a deep passion for helping people understand the Word of God. God has blessed him with the ability to dive into the word deeply and efficiently and be able to articulate the truths in it clearly. It brings him great joy to see the transforming power of God on display through the scripture. He wants to know and teach the Bible more clearly every day. As a discipler I currently have the privilege of working with young people. There is nothing more rewarding than to see God working in the lives of students. God has called me to shepherd students and care for them in a holistic way.
