About the author

Jim Heafner earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University. He is a certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and trained in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement Screening (FMS) systems. His educational and clinical background have made him an expert in manual and manipulative physical therapy as well as functional movement. Currently, Jim is owner and lead Physical Therapist at Heafner Health Physical Therapy in Boulder, CO. Keith Allen's mission statement is to guide others to believe in themselves, find freedom, and achieve greater peace of mind with their own unique yoga practice. Keith completed his first 200-hour teacher training at the Yandara Yoga Institute in Mexico and has since studied extensively from different teachers, lineages, and styles around the world. He currently resides in Boulder, Colorado where he teaches primarily Vinyasa and Hot yoga. For Keith, yoga is about connecting deeper to who we are and leaving the practice happier to be alive. His classes balance a meditative flow with safe alignment to maintain a sustainable and beneficial practice. In addition to yoga, Keith is passionate about travel, skiing, creating art, and music.
