Edward Aronoff was educated in New York, Iowa and Florida, after which he started a medical practice in the Tampa Bay area. Moving on to a literary career he has been writing ever since. He has written 8 books on the Civil War and other subjects. He has four children and ten grandchildren and lives with his wife, Réka in Florida and the mountains of North Carolina
