About the author
Treal Ravenel is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Detour Movement Incorporated, and pours her passion and drive into youth, women, and young adult couples through ministry. In addition to being a serial entrepreneur and mother, Treal has extensive experience working in the corporate arena, where she developed her public speaking, training, and development skills, and an innate ability to connect with and mentor others.
Treal is a transformational coach and expert in personal and professional development who empowers women to make better decisions as it relates to relationships, building confidence, and becoming leaders in their community. She became a teen mother, married at the age of 19 years old, and developed a sense of optimism and transparency, due to some unfortunate circumstances in her own life. She strengthened her relationships with God and others and was recently remarried in 2012.
Treal graduated with honors from Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Development and a minor in Psychology. In May 2012, she obtained her a Master of Arts Degree in Management and Leadership.
Jill Bulluck is a personal development coach that helps women improve their relationships with God, themselves, and others. As Founder of Detour Movement Incorporated, she has developed coaching programs, resources, and events to empower women to achieve personal and professional goals, while growing in faith. She is a certified Christian educator, trained in conflict resolution, and a certified mentor/mentee coach.
Jill is a motivational speaker and trainer, facilitating workshops and presentations to audiences that include women, youth, community based organizations, and religious organizations, such as Youth Leadership Foundation (YLF), and the Women of Faith of New Creation Church (NCC). Jill began community mentoring, coaching, and teaching in July 2008. During her tenure in youth ministry and as a bible study teacher, she learned how to effectively communicate for change and teach the biblical application to cope and manage issues, such as self-esteem building, influence of the media, money, personal image, academics and professional life, as well as sex and relationships.
Outside of working to build the Kingdom, Jill, a South Carolina native, also enjoys fitness, cooking, jet skiing, and other outdoor adventures. She is a graduate of San Diego State University (SDSU), and is completing her MBA at Morgan State University.
