Overview
This book is about one woman’s story of how she faced countless oppositions and adversities through her life’s journey of discovering and accepting her identity in Christ. It serves as a true personal testimony and an encouragement to women who are going through or went through adversity and assures them that God is faithful despite the path or journey we choose to take in life. She is a living witness of that! Having learned that living a life outside of Christ is doomed for failure and after going through and overcoming an identity crisis, failed marriage, financial hardship and struggles, being a single mother and more, she made a conscious decision that she would no longer live a defeated life. She came to a breaking point in her life where she was fed up of Satan - his lies, his promises and the direction he was taking her life. She wholeheartedly surrendered to God giving Him complete ownership of her life. In doing this God equipped me to handle adversity head on and He protected me in the process. Though Satan tried to strip me of so much, God made good on all His promises and gave me back everything and even more than she lost or asked for. It is her prayer that in sharing her life journey with you, you will be encouraged to allow God to pick up the pieces of your life so that you can experience “Triumph in the Midst of Adversity and become a Victorious Woman!”

I am well versed and transparent in public speaking, consulting, program development, project management and training and development in which I combine my innate ability and gift to connect with and empower others. In addition, I serve as a mentor to several young women in the Charleston and surrounding area. Under my tutelage, these young women are becoming successful products of their environment. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Development with a minor in Psychology and graduated with honors from Limestone College. I decided to further my education and received my Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from Webster’s University. I share my life with my husband, Henry and son Givionne Jr who is a rising senior and preparing to go off to college next year. All three of us lead an extremely busy life, but somehow we manage to balance it all without losing the true value and focus of the family unit. When I am able to steal away from the busyness of life; I enjoy traveling, shopping and spending time with close family and friends. I have written two books and now working toward my third!
