The narrator reflects on different times in his life when he had an opportunity to talk with someone special in his life (father, relatives, friends, and other influential people). When the narrator thinks back on these times, he realizes to make sure he takes the opportunity to talk with his own grandson and connect with him.
About the author
Thomas Bolsover is the author for "The Talk." The author was born in January of 1951 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a fourth and fifth generation born Canadian of United Kingdom Decent. He began his working career in 1966, recently retiring in 2022. Throughout his career, he was indentured with carpenters and joiners of America and has certifications in both carpentry and industrial woodworking. He also has multiple trades certificates in construction. He has 30 years of hands-on construction experience, holding miscellaneous leadership positions finishing as both General Manager and owner of a business. He has taught credit courses in carpentry, advanced blueprint reading and building envelope technologies.
