In the dark and apocalyptic days of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown around the world, worry, anger, and frustration inspired fervent emotions to people from all walks of life. We are all uniquely different, with an equally different approach to dealing with the ensuing isolation and the fury and rage associated with it. The one common ground for all of us is human adaptability. The author drew upon the wonder of that element as inspiration to write "Tall Tales and Short Yarns".
About the author
The Author was born in 1951, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He and his wife have been married for 51 years, being blessed with three children and twelve grandchildren. He recently retired from Peel District School Board in Mississauga Ont., after 24 years of service. While there, he has held the positions of contractor coordinator, assistant structural supervisor, structural supervisor and project manager. Over his career, he has achieved multiple certificates of qualifications in construction that include general carpentry, industrial woodworking, an OAC in calculus, holding various positions of lead hand, foreperson, manager and business owner in construction. He has taught a general interest course in woodworking, credit course in carpentry, advanced blueprint reading and advanced building envelope technologies. This book titled "Tall Tales and Short Yarns" is his second publication, preceded by his first book release titled "The Talk".
