Description

The sunflower sisters is written to encourage deeper trust in Jesus and His plan, even when we don't fully understand. It follows two sisters who live in a meadow and are cared for each day by the Farmer's Son. The older sister requires additional help to grow correctly, and this leads her to express questions about why she is made differently and how this is a good thing. This touches on the tender theme of disabilities and God's beauty reflected within. When life's storms come, when the pruning shears come out, when we have unanswered questions, Jesus is still steady, still good, and abundantly faithful, as the sisters learn in this book.
