About The Author


Voza Rivers is a celebrated, award-winning international producer and a founding pillar of Harlem's cultural landscape. As Executive Producer and founding member of New Heritage Theatre Group (NHTG), established in 1964, Rivers has championed the arts for decades.
He is the Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of HARLEM WEEK Inc., which evolved from a one-day tribute into a month-long, global celebration of Harlem's history, now reaching billions in media impressions. Rivers and NHTG co-founded the Oscar- and Grammy-nominated youth division, Impact Repertory Theatre, with Jamal Joseph, and New Heritage Films, completing over 50 documentaries.
Rivers’ extensive Broadway credits include nominations for the Tony Award-winning Sarafina! The Musical (also Grammy-nominated) and Asinamali! He has produced and presented world-renowned artists—from Nina Simone and Ray Charles to John Legend and Anita Baker—across the U.S., South Africa, Japan, and the U.K.
Currently, Rivers serves as Vice President of The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce, Chairman/Co-Founder of Harlem Arts Alliance, and Chairman/Executive Producer of 360 Entertainment International. He continues to elevate Harlem's cultural institutions through projects like “Harlem Heritage Now.”

Co-Author S. Michele Echols believes in the power of books to make you think, feel, and heal. A Thought-Leader Librarian and Learning Experience Designer, Michele expanded her professional repertoire to include Bibliotherapy—the art of using books to process difficult emotions—and specialized coaching. She is the Consultant and owner of Curated Collections by SME, LLC, a concierge library services company that promotes literacy and mental well-being.

Michele brings over a decade of experience managing academic, public, and school libraries. This is her first coloring book, created using Generative AI, where she maintains a firm belief in keeping a human in the loop throughout the creative process.
