The Ruptured Sky is a graphic novel that explores the War of 1812 from First Nations perspectives. Without their help, the British would have lost the war to the Americans and Canada would have become a very different place. The Ruptured Sky explores the significant people, places and events that occurred long ago but still has repercussions today.

W.L. Liberman is the founding editor and publisher of TEACH Magazine, Canada's largest, national educational publication: www.teachmag.com. He is also the author of the Mr. X/Get Outta Town! teen travel series. The books are based on the television show, Get Outta Town! that Mr. Liberman co-produced and aired across North America, Europe and Asia. He is also the author of the graphic novel, The Shadowed Road: www.theshadowedroad.com , one part of a substantive educational, digital resource for teachers and students. The children's storybook, Ezra and the Lion Cub was also part of that project. The Ruptured Sky is the second in the graphic novel series and is also linked to a substantive, online, interactive, educational resource.
