The first loves of Beto and Marcelo, two young students from Saltillo at Monterrey Tech, for Alejandra and Marielena, take them on a road of discovery of their full being and potential. We get along with their stories guided by the numerous cats that live around them, encountering a world of music and adult disillusions that might derail their best efforts.
About the author
Sergio E. Avilés was born in Saltillo, México. He graduated from Monterrey Tech with a BFA in communications, and did his junior year at the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire. He has been a professor at Monterrey Tech and Coahuila State University and was visiting professor in electronic publishing at Brigham Young University in Provo, Ut. At present he teaches movie language and movie aesthetics at LaSalle University in his hometown. The name of the cat is his first novel in English. Previous works include "Me enamoré de una cucaracha", "indiGestión Pública" and the short movie "End of the world."
