Dr. Kouacou currently serves as a full-time corporate finance and international economics instructor at Columbia Southern University. Prior to his teaching tenure, Dr. K. had long international corporate experience. From 1995 to 2005, he served as a law-office employee. In this position, he helped numerous companies develop competitive advantages and in-creased their market shares. From 2006 to 2014, he served as operations manager at a logistics company. This position gave Dr. K. the opportunity to apply his educational knowledge. His leadership abilities helped the company reduce employee turnover and increase customer loyalty. He contributed to the increase in the company's revenues. In 2014, Dr. Kouacou transitioned to the education field, where he served as adjunct professor of business. His dedication to his professional duties convinced his program director to promote him to the position of full-time instructor of corporate finance and international economics. Dr. Kouacou is a fervent community servant. He dedicated part of his time to volunteering as a consultant at SCORE Atlanta. Helping others succeed in their business life is the essence of Dr. K.'s life. He loves to help. For him, every business must succeed. Considering the amount of investment—time, money, and other resources—involved in business creation, Dr. K. strongly believes that every business should make it. In this endeavor, he instills in the mind of his students and clients that success is possible regardless of the adverse external and internal events a company may encounter. Founder of Edge Management, a prominent consulting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, since 2013, Dr. K., as his students call him, earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from American Intercontinental University, Atlanta in 2010. In 2012, he completed with distinction his Master of Business Administration (MBA) plus a graduate certificate in financial analysis from Keller Graduate School of Management, Atlanta. In 2017, Dr. K. earned, with honor, his doctorate in business administration from Argosy University, Atlanta. Dr. K. is a certified Lean six sigma black belt, certified life coach, a certified organizational development coach, and a certified scrum master. In his career as a professor and consultant, Dr. K. positively impacted the lives of many students and clients in many areas, such as business strategies, finance, and life and organizational development. In his instructional career, Dr. Kouacou received several awards for excellent service. In 2022, Columbia Southern University awarded Dr. Kouacou the prize of "Raising the Bar" for his commitment to the success of his students.
