"Men Who Choose Liberty" follows the men who fought for America's welfare and believed England aspired for nothing less than absolute superiority over their colonies. The tale is grounded in historical facts and mixes myth and reality based on actual life events. The characters, explored from childhood until death, lead readers to see that today's partisan politics are not unique. The six characters Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Patrick Henry, Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr, and James Wilkinson are intoxicating, like youth soon lost.

Growing up in Putnam County in the town of Putnam Valley, Seth Irving Handaside explored the hills and valleys that American rebels tread. An 11th-grade teacher's question triggered his interest in the founding of America. What he would have done when the head of the state, King George III of England, ignored his rights and the rule of law?
