About The Author

Rob Whitford has worked with animals his whole life growing up on his grandparents' working farm in northwest Ohio. More recently he and his wife, Cammie, have worked with wildlife rehabbers in Texas raising orphaned and injured baby wildlife including skunks, raccoons, possums, and squirrels; releasing them back into the wild. Rob and Cammie agreed to take in their first litter of eight skunk kits and from that moment on, they were HOOKED! Today, Rob and Cammie care for a few skunks that could not be released and they use them as training ambassadors. Rob and Cammie continue to share their stories and still speak with children and adults about skunks. Rob began writing in 2022 with hopes of entertaining and educating children about the truth about skunks and other wild animals. He continues to write whimsical stories and share fun facts for all to enjoy today.
