She then started her own massage business and later became the Founder and Director of Dusnee Thai Spa in 2009 which later changed its name to Authentic Thai Massage NYC in 2016. Sassy's desire to spread her knowledge of Thai massage and treat as many people as possible led to her wanting to teach her special authentic style of massage. In 2015, Sasighan was approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider and is also sponsored by the NCBTMB to teach New York LMTs continuing education which is accepted by the State of New York for license renewal. Sassy later also became an adjunct professor at the Pacific College of Oriental medicine (PCOM NY) in lower Manhattan (winter 2016 – fall 2017), where she lectured on Thai massage courses.
