A lonely giraffe named Gerry lives in a zoo. He has been lonely and today he decides to do something about it. He uses his long neck to escape his pen in search of friends. He meets many on the way and the reader learns about the other animals in the zoo and their distinguishing characteristics.

Kimberly lives in Delaware, with her husband ,two boys, and two dogs. Kimberly works as a director of special education. Kimberly is a lover of reading and writing.
