About the author
M.D. Spenser (born May 1, 1953) is the author of the 36-book Shivers series. The books are aimed at readers between the ages of 8 and 14. Spenser is an international journalist originally from the United States but now based in Belgium. Spenser is now writing a novel set in modern London, titled Some Say In Ice. Under another name, he has just published a book on running. He is also working on a humorous memoir about his years in journalism, titled "Occasionally Accurate." His wife, Rodica, is a political commentator. Spenser lives in Brussels with his family and his parrot.
