Wayne's autobiography covers 67 years of his life. He was raised in a small, southern Indiana community. He grew up in a household with his parents and younger sister. The book was written with the purpose of sharing stories about his life, as well as telling many stories about his parents, grandparents and friends. He always dreamed about the lives and times of his ancestors, but really couldn't find much information about them. He wrote this book with the intention of sharing stories with future generations of his family. He is the last male Hobbs in his family.
