About The Author


Brent DeHaan was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated with a B.A. in history from the University of Utah. He is deathly afraid of venomous snakes and probably wouldn't last more than a few days in his novel, "The Katagi Man-Eater." When not writing, Brent enjoys mountaineering (He has climbed all 50 U.S. state highpoints) playing golf and tennis and traveling with his wife Renee. He has four wonderful children.
