About The Author


With over 46 years of experience to his credit, Barry Marloff is a guitarist’s guitarist. After twelve years of performing in New Jersey’s competitive club scene circuit where he opened for such acts as Bruce Springsteen and South Side Johnny, he relocated from New Jersey to northern California to the coastal setting of Mendocino. This is where he now continues his full time 33 year career as a guitar teacher. Barry writes and performs all types of music including jazz, jazz fusion, rock, and blues. He has taught thousands of students on both coasts since 1979. Barry is currently working on a series of music instructional booklets which he calls “little dynamos”.
