Scary ghosts have one goal - to be scary! And chickens have one job - to be a chicken! But when Ghost tries to frighten Chicken one night, it is Ghost who ends up having nightmares! No matter what he tries to do, he just can't scare Chicken...or even get his attention! Ghost just wants to be scary like ghosts are supposed to be. About The Author

Chris Brady is a singer, songwriter, musician, former elementary school teacher, advocate for animal rights, and cat lover. He has degrees in psychology and education, and is a certified literacy specialist. He is also the author and illustrator of the "Many Adventures of Bukowski the Cat" children's book series. He lives in Philadelphia, PA with his wife, Anna Marie, in a house full of rescued animals.


About The Illustrator

PJ Brady has been creating and drawing characters from his own imagination for his entire life, and he is a graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia. The Ineffective Ghost & The Distracted Chicken is his first foray into illustrating children's books, which is fitting since the characters are his own creation. He lives in Cherry Hill, NJ, with his wife, Karen, and their two sons, Luke and Cole.
