About The Author

Norma Sawyers-Kurz has written books for bereaved parents from the perspective of personal experience. In 1982 her 15-year-old daughter Karen was killed in a tragic accident. Norma was devastated, paralyzed by disbelief and shock. After years of working through the grief process, Norma decided to reach out to other grieving families to share how she survived the most difficult period of her life. In addition to her four books, other published work by Norma includes a contribution to an anthology and articles in Journals and magazines. She is a graduate of American Christian College, Oklahoma City, where she received the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. She lives with her husband John and her dog Lady Diana in Southwest Missouri.
