Sam is an assistant to the Master, helping him create earth from a castle in the sky. The Master has a problem. During the day he watches the people on Earth, but the darkness of night makes him miss them. Sam goes to work inventing the Moon to light up the sky at night and in the process invents something even better. The Master proclaims it's his best invention yet. The Great Inventor of the Stars is a folktale about creation.

Avery Davis graduated in Environmental Law. She spends half of the year in Cordova, Alaska as a fisherman's wife and the other half drying off in the deserts of Utah. She is the Mom of three children who love a good bed time story.
