A shipment of endangered animals to Brassmonkey Bay Zoo ends in a terrible accident, changing the world for young Zookeepers, Pax and Pip Paladin. Ironically, the twist of fate that deprives five rainforest animals of their freedom makes Pip a captive in a hospital room.
