Danièle Ryman is the world's leading expert on aromatherapy and natural wellbeing. With her unparalleled reputation within the field of natural remedies and aromacology (the psychology of smell), her advice on natural solutions for health and beauty concerns is constantly sought by major media, beauty, retail, hotel, airline and spa organisations around the world as well as her private clients. She also advises conventional health practitioners, including plastic surgeons, to aid their patients' recovery.

Danièle's work has featured extensively in the media, from TV and radio to Vogue, Elle, Marie-Claire, Grazia, Good Housekeeping and The Times. She is the author of many books translated into multiple languages and she is a media spokesperson for the industry. Her private client list includes royalty, sporting stars and well-known celebrities in film and television.

In the 1960s, French-born Danièle became the protégée of Marguerite Maury, the legendary pioneer of aromatherapy, working alongside her in Marguerite's Paris and London clinics. After Marguerite passed away, Danièle continued her important legacy, specialising in the research of therapeutic, cosmetic and skin-care treatments and natural products.

Danièle went on launch her own-label products from her prestigious Park Lane spa and shop in London. As a result, Danièle is now the Wellbeing in the Air Expert for British Airways, featuring in their in-flight programming. Danièle has also collaborated with numerous major beauty and healthcare brands, for example she developed a premium range of natural health and beauty products for Boots the Chemist and an aromacology range of health, beauty, perfume, candle and products for Marks & Spencer in the UK.

Today, Danièle continues her research and development in London and France and works with laboratories in the UK. She lectures to major institutions, most recently in China, Malaysia and Taiwan, advises global cosmetic corporations, writes articles, blogs and books and continues to develop formulations for businesses and private clients.
